Six random facts about me.
by missP on Thu Feb 01, 2007 1:56 am
Okay, this blog has been neglected therefore I am taking time off from the Trivia in the chat rooms to update. Luckily I have been tagged by Curacha, so now I have something to post, he, he, he. I am supposed to write six random facts about me. I think I may have done something similar already (referring to the August 24 issue in categories "I, ME & MYSELF"), but, let’s just add this to the previous list I made/posted there.

Here goes the: Six random facts about me.

1. The first song I learned to sing entitled “If This Is Love” by Melissa Manchester was a favorite song of my mom during the late 70’s early 80’s. At the age of seven (7), this became my favorite song, too.

Melissa Manchester

Guess I'm just afraid
I'm not the kind who makes it last forever
And in my selfish way I think I'm clever
Until you cry

Do you wanna leave?
You can let it go because you're strong
But one day without your love seemed so long
And I sigh, how I sigh

If this is love, darling
Now's the time to wake up
Hurting words can't really shake up someone's life

If this is love, darling
It's time to stop pretending
We'll never have a happy ending while we cry

Isn't it a shame?
How one excuse still leads into another?
After all this time we hurt each other?
Isn't it a shame?

Time to make a change
Time to find the things we both believe in
Talk about the staying, not the leaving

(repeat chorus2x)

2. I love Ballroom dancing. In fact I went to dance lessons when I was in Belgium. Each evening, four times a week, hubby and went to an hour and a half dance lesson. Unfortunately, I not only have two left foot but I was also stubborn. During the whole session, half the time, I was scolded by my dance teacher for always taking the lead. I somehow cannot let myself be carried away/led by the male dance partner, which at that time happened to be my hubby. So, now you have an idea of how things go at home? igiveup igiveup igiveup

3. When I was five or six years old, I dreamt of becoming a ballerina. I went to ballet school but had an accident and got my right elbow dislocated. I didn’t tell anybody about it and the following day I was already running a fever. I ended up staying in bed for sometime with and a very stiff arm. I was not allowed to move… and yes, you guessed it right, that was the end of the ballet career I so dreamt of doing when I grow up. flatcat flatcat flatcat

4. I planned that by the age of thirty, I would have had my own car, abode and traveled to the other hemisphere opposite the Philippines… I succeeded and exactly in the order I wanted it to be. I am proud of that definitely. joy joy joy

5. I cry over silly things like seeing pictures of street kids in shabby, greasy clothing sleeping along the streets, dark alleys or at the over passes of metro manila. It hurts me so much to see them and not being able to help them. Until now, I have never stopped praying for those angels who has been neglected by their parents. I pray that someday, I will be able to help these kids. Hope it won’t be too late then. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

6. My one last wish in life is to be able to build an orphanage in the Philippines someday and provide a substitute home for the homeless kids roaming about the streets of Manila. No I don’t plan to run for public office, I just want to help those Angels. yep yep yep

Happy Heart's day
by missP on Wed Feb 14, 2007 10:29 am
Waking up to the doorbell text message alert of my phone and the standard beeping of my smart roaming at 06.00 a.m. this morning was weird. Yes, weird since I am on vacation and don't normally get out of bed till 09:00, unless I have an early appointment for the day.

We went to bed very late last night or should I say quite early in the morning already. I arrived late from my Brussels trip. Hubby on the other hand, got back from Russia a few hours ahead of me. So, we both planned to stay longer in bed today. But No. This plan was rudely interrupted by the text messsages. I got out to check was they were about. Half mumbling, half worried that it is not a bad news or something. There were some picture messages that I, unfortunately cannot share here, since I don't know how to transfer them. All Valentine's day greetings. That's when I remembered. Gosh! How time flies. We just recently celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ and welcomed the new year 2007... and now it's HEART's day again. Pretty soon, tatanda na ang pamangkin ko at magkaka boyfriend na siguro. I am not going to say ako ang tatanda.. AYOKO TUMANDA... waaaaaa groan groan .. but i guess it's nature and therefore unavoidable. shrug d'oh! Laughing

Anyway, let me share a couple of the messages i recieved this morning. Oh, huwag na kayong umangal at ku-montra. Read nalang kayo. Laughing Laughing Laughing

HOney, kung ginawa akong puzzle, for sure ikaw ang missing piece Kc U COMPLETE ME!

Life comes just once, so let's make the most of it.God didn't give us everything to enjoy life, but He gave us LIFE to enjoy everything!

Another personality test
by missP on Fri Feb 16, 2007 8:56 pm
I'm a sucker for tests like this. It's interesting how it turns out. Sometimes I like the results, most of the time not. But I play along anyway. Shallow? Perhaps. But for me, it feels weird after taking the test and realizing that some of the things they say in this "crappy" game are really true. Weird ba ako??? bash bash bash

Put the following 5 animals in the order of your preference. Cow Tiger Sheep Horse Pig

Write one word that describes each one of the following: Dog Cat Rat Coffee Sea

Think of someone (who also knows you and is important to you) that you can relate them to the following colours (do not repeat your answer twice. Name just one person for each colour.) Yellow Orange Red White Green

Finally, write down your favourite number and your favourite day of the week....

My results:

My order of preference: PIG, SHEEP, HORSE, TIGER, COW

(According to the test, my priorities in life are in this order: Money, Love, Family, Pride and Career)

Your description of dog implies your own personality.
Your description of cat implies the personality of your partner.
Your description of rat implies the personality of your enemies.
Your description of coffee is how you interpret sex.
Your description of the sea implies your own life.

For the next part, it implies that I have a mad personality while my hubby has a purring one. My enemies are stinking like s**t and I think sex should be strong. In the end, I have a very deep life. Whatever that means?!

(Yellow)=Tiny is an old friend from way back in High school and is apparently someone whom I will never forget. Well, I don’t need to take any kind of test to believe this.

(Orange)=Jane is someone whom I consider to be a true friend… VERY TRUE!

(Red)=ML is the person I really love…I would not have married him if it was otherwise.

(White)=Izelle my niece, is supposed to be my twin soul. Does this mean she is very much like me and will most likely make the same mistakes or achievements that I made in my lifetime? Geeeez… I am forewarned.

(Green)=Jorge is someone whom I will remember for the rest of my life. This I have no doubt about. He was a friend way back in High school who died a couple of years back. He was a very kind person, an obedient and helpful son, perfect brother and a real true friend. Tiny, me and Jorge go back a long way. Therefore, they are the two persons I won’t ever forget.

Okay, you guessed it right. You have to send this message to as many persons as your favorite number and your wish will come true on the day that you put. Thank goodness I wrote only 9 instead of 99. I definitely would hate to break the chain. bananas bananas
