My colleage from work told me yesterday of her dream about seeing dead people. She's been having the same dream for sometime now and feels a little wierd about it. I told her I would check out what it means. This is what I found out:
Dreaming of the dead or ghosts does not necessarily mean somebody will die. It's metaphoric. Normally, seeing ghosts in dreams happens only to children, kids. In their dream, they may see the shadow of their terror teacher whom they are afraid of. To adults, it signifies a change in life, in attitude or in character. It suggest a death of an attitude or trait that once you have but is now gone.
Well, i think the explanation does make sense. So, for those of you who sees ghosts in your dreams, have no fear. It is nothing scary. On the other hand, you should be happy. You may have lost a bad quality in yourself or gained some, meaning you have upgrown immaturity.

According to J.& D. Parker, "the bond between grandparents and their grandchildren is often very strong and extremely positive. To dream of a Grandparent who has died will more likely be reassuring, telling you that you have inherited some of their wisdom." On the other case, "to dream of Hospitals, your dream is advising you to face up reality and bravely take whatever is coming to you."
Can it be that your sub-conscious is trying to tell you that some qualities of your grandmother is slowly surfacing in you as well? Perhaps, you are slowly understanding the wisdom of her past reactions when you were still younger? And that you must be brave enough to face any obstacles that may come your way. Perhaps, you are so much like her when she was in your age?
Posted by: MissP at April 21, 2004 04:12 PMrecently i dreamt about my grandma who died when i was in highschool. she was in a hospital bed, sick but she looked very young and has a long brown hair (she was young when she died but not young looking katulad sa dream, and her hair i guess was short). i was the one taking care of her then i left the hospital room yun lang. ano kaya meaning nun? tc!
